Fine Gallery

We are located at Shop No 54 inside Citi Centre on SV Road in Goregaon West. Being in a mall like Citi Centre is a bit different from having a shop right on the street. It’s a bit more protected from the rain, but you still get the crowds on the weekends. Fine Gallery is just a small unit, packed with all sorts of things. We have a lot of stuff on the walls, and sometimes it looks a bit cluttered to people walking by. I’ve been working here for several years now. The air conditioning in the building doesn't always reach our corner perfectly, so we keep a small fan running on the desk. SV Road is always jammed with traffic outside, so we usually hear the faint sound of horns even through the walls. We see a lot of people who are just killing time while they wait for someone else. They wander in, look at the watches, and maybe ask a question or two. We also have our regulars who come specifically to see us for repairs. It’s a lot of sitting and focusing on small parts under a magnifying glass. My back hurts sometimes by the end of the shift, but I like the quiet of the work. It’s a decent place to be, and the other shop owners nearby are friendly enough. We just do our thing and close up when the mall shuts down.
