Ferns N Petals Matunga

Our shop is located in Leela Niwas on Ganesh College Road in Matunga East. It’s a small space, but we pack it full of whatever flowers are in season. The sidewalk outside is usually busy with students and people heading to the station. We’ve been in this part of Matunga for a while now. The shop is small enough that if three people come in at once, it feels very crowded. We have a lot of regular customers from the nearby colleges who come in to get a single rose or a small bouquet. It’s a nice vibe around here. I usually keep the door open so we can hear what’s happening on the street. It gets a bit hot in the summer, but the flowers don't seem to mind as long as we keep the water fresh. We aren't some big corporate office. We’re just a local flower shop where you can see the person actually making the arrangement. Sometimes I get help from my nephew when he’s not in class. We have a lot of fun with the colors and smells every day. There’s always some fallen petals on the floor that we have to sweep up. The building itself is an older one, typical for Matunga, which gives it some character. We don't do anything too fancy, just honest work with plants and flowers. If you're walking toward the college, you'll definitely see us there. It's a good place to work every day.
