We are over at Nirmal Nagar in Bandra East, specifically in Building 15. It’s a bit of a maze back here sometimes, especially if you aren’t used to the local layout. Our unit is AR No 579, and it stays pretty busy with people coming in and out all day. Bandra is always moving, and we try to keep up with that pace. We deal with infrastructure work, which basically means we spend a lot of time looking at maps and dealing with various site issues across the city. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s something we’re good at. Some days are long, especially when there’s a deadline or something goes wrong at a site, which happens more often than anyone likes to admit. The office is pretty simple, just some chairs and computers where we track where everything is going. We aren’t really into the whole corporate branding thing; we just want to finish the work and move on to the next thing. Being in Bandra means we are central, so getting to South Mumbai or the suburbs isn't too bad if you time it right. Most of our neighbors are also just regular folks or small businesses, so there’s a decent community feel here. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we sort out the schedules. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, day in and day out.
