Fatima Trading Co

Fatima Trading Co is tucked away on Dockyard Road. We are inside Gita Niwas, at 83/86. It’s a solid old building. Living and working around Dockyard Road means you get used to the sounds of the ships and the heavy vehicles passing by all the time. Our trade business is pretty straightforward. We spend our mornings checking what came in and what needs to go out. The space in Gita Niwas isn't huge, but we make it work for us. There are boxes stacked up to the ceiling in some corners. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when we have a big shipment, but we manage. We’ve known the neighbors for years, so it feels like a small community even with all the industrial stuff going on. We don't have a website or anything like that. If someone wants something, they usually just call or stop by the office. My chair squeaks every time I sit down, and the fan on the ceiling makes a bit of noise, but it keeps us cool enough. We keep our records in big ledgers mostly. It’s an old-fashioned way of doing things, I guess. But it works for us at Fatima Trading Co. We just focus on getting the day's tasks done and making sure the orders are ready on time. It is honest work, and we have been doing it for a long time now. We don't plan on changing much about how we run things.
