Eye Bolt Mumbai

Eye Bolt Mumbai is down here in Madanpura, specifically in the Baig Mohammamad Building on Mohd. Umer Rajjab Road. It’s a busy spot. We spend most of our mornings just sorting through the crates that come in. There is always someone coming in asking for a specific size or type of eye bolt that we have to dig around for. The shop isn't fancy, just a lot of shelves and heavy metal. Sometimes the traffic outside gets so loud we can barely hear the customers, but that’s just how it is in this part of Mumbai. We’ve been at 52/28 for a while now. Most days are just about keeping track of what’s in stock and making sure we don't run out of the common stuff people need for their jobs. It gets pretty hot in here during the summer months, so the fan is always running, even if it doesn't do much. People know us because we’ve been here, and they know where to find us when they need hardware. We don't do anything special, just show up, open the shutters, and see who needs help. It’s a lot of lifting and moving things around. There's usually some tea being shared if it's a slow afternoon. We just keep things moving as best as we can. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do every single day without fail.
