The office is small because we spend most of our time out on jobs or in the warehouse. Lalbaug is a crowded place, especially during festival times, so we have to plan our truck routes very carefully. We’ve got ropes, blankets, and boxes piled up in the corner of the room. It’s not a pretty sight but those are the tools we need to get the job done. We don't use big words to describe what we do here. We just pack stuff and move it. I started doing this years ago and the work hasn't changed much, just the traffic has gotten worse. We have a few regular drivers who know the city like the back of their hand. Sometimes a customer calls and they're stressed because moving is hard, so we just try to get it done without any extra trouble. The Morya building is easy to spot if you know the landmark. We don't have a shiny reception desk. Usually, there's just one of us sitting there answering the phone and writing down addresses in a ledger. It’s a basic operation. We just keep the trucks moving and the boxes taped up tight. That's the way it's always been for us, day in and day out.
