Exotica Impex

Exotica Impex is located on the 3rd floor of 74 Aliumer Street, right in the heart of Masjid Bunder. If you have ever been to this part of the city, you know how the narrow streets are packed with people and carts. Our office is up a narrow staircase. It is not a large space, but we make it work for our import-export business. There are always boxes piled up near the door. We spend a lot of time checking lists and making sure the customs papers are in order. It gets very loud with the market right outside the windows. Sometimes it is hard to concentrate, but we are used to it by now. We are not one of those big companies with a hundred employees. It is just a few of us. We share the work and help each other out when things get busy. The fans stay on all day to keep the air moving. We do not have any big slogans or goals other than getting through the day's tasks. We like being in Masjid Bunder because everything is close by. It is a bit chaotic, but it feels real. The chai wallah comes by every afternoon, which is usually the highlight of our day. We just do our thing and try to keep our customers happy without any extra fuss.
