Excellent Spices

If you’ve ever been to Crawford Market on D.N. Road, you know how hectic it can be. We’re right in the thick of it at shop number 78. Excellent Spices has been part of this market for quite a while. It’s a place full of smells, sounds, and people constantly pushing past each other. Our shop isn't very big, but we pack a lot into it. Every morning starts with opening up the shutters and getting the stock ready for the day. It’s dusty and noisy, but that’s just life in the market. We don't have a website with fancy graphics or a big marketing plan. We just have our shop and the people who walk in every day. Most of our time is spent weighing things out or talking to customers who’ve been coming to us for years. The light inside is a bit dim and the floor is worn down from all the feet. We don’t mind it though. It’s a real place with real history. Being on D.N. Road means we’re in one of the most famous spots in the city. We take pride in just being here and doing what we do. It’s a simple business. We don't use big words to describe it. We just show up, sell our goods, and close up when the sun goes down. It’s hard work but we are used to the noise by now.
