Everest Masala

We've been here at Vikhroli West for quite some time now, right next to the MTNL building on LBS Marg. If you know the area, you know how busy this stretch of road gets, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get to work. Inside our space at 4-B, it’s mostly about the spices. You can smell them as soon as you walk through the door, even before you see the bags. It’s not a fancy place, just a workspace where we get things done. We spend a lot of our day dealing with bags of raw materials and making sure the grinding machines are running properly. Some of the staff have been with us for years, so we all know the routine pretty well by now. It gets a bit loud when everything is switched on, but that’s just how it is in this line of work. We don't really have a big reception or anything like that because we're focused on the work in the back. LBS Marg is always full of traffic, and sometimes it's a struggle for the delivery trucks to get in and out of the gate. But we manage. Most days involve checking the stock and talking to the drivers. We aren't trying to change the world, just making sure the masala is packed and ready for whoever needs it. It’s a simple operation, really. We just come in and do the work.
