Evans Clearing Agency

Evans Clearing Agency is located in the Bahary Building No.3, specifically in Room No.35/36. We are on Jackaria Bunder Road in the Cotton Green area of Mumbai. This part of town is very industrial and connected to the docks and railways. Our work involves clearing goods, so being in Cotton Green makes a lot of sense for us. The office is definitely an old-school type of place. We have big heavy ledgers, lots of stamps, and stacks of customs forms everywhere. It’s not a place for someone who likes everything to be digital and shiny. It smells a bit like old paper and ink in here. We spend a lot of time dealing with the port authorities and making sure shipments are moving like they should. It’s a lot of back-and-forth and sometimes things get delayed, which can be frustrating. The building itself has seen better days, but it’s sturdy enough for what we need. We know all the other agents in the area. It’s a small community where everyone knows everyone else’s business. We don't have a website or a marketing team. We just have our reputation and our office on Jackaria Bunder Road. If you need to find us, just look for the room number on the door. We are usually here early in the morning when the shipments start moving. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. We’ve been doing this for years in the same spot and we don't plan on moving.
