Eric Travels

Eric Travels operates out of a small room in River Crossing House over in Dahisar. Finding the place isn’t always easy if you don’t know the Ejipura Main Road area, but being near Vinni Garden usually helps people get their bearings. Room No 9 is a pretty straightforward setup with a few desks and a lot of logbooks for the vehicles. Keeping track of where the cars are and making sure the drivers are awake for those early morning airport runs takes up most of our energy. Long nights happen here often, especially when a flight is delayed and there is a lot of waiting around. Because the neighborhood is busy, there’s always someone coming or going. The business started because we knew the roads well and had a couple of decent cars to use. Now, the daily routine consists of answering the phone and checking the fuel prices. Big fancy advertisements aren't something we do. Instead, people find us because they live nearby or a friend told them we were okay. Dusty windows are common because we leave them open to the main road, but that’s just life in this part of town. Keeping the cars clean and the schedules tight is the goal, though things don’t always go to plan. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep the wheels turning.
