Engg Sem Viii

We are Engg Sem Viii and we operate out of C-35 in the Jai Shivshankar C. H. S. building. This is right near Devi Chowk in Dombivli, Maharashtra. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets around the chowk, especially during the festival times. Our office is basically just a flat in the cooperative housing society. It feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes. We have 421 202 as our pin code if you are sending us mail. We do a lot of our engineering work right here on these wooden tables. It gets a bit noisy with the sounds of the street coming through the windows, but we are used to it by now. Living and working in Dombivli means being part of a tight community. We see the same neighbors every morning when we come in. Our space is filled with old folders and some local snacks we keep in the corner. We don’t have a receptionist or a big sign outside, just our name on the door. It is a humble way to work but it works for us. We spend our days calculating things and looking over plans. The train station is not too far, so some of the guys commute in from other parts of Mumbai. It is a lot of hard work and sometimes we stay late until the street lights are the only thing shining outside. We just take it one day at a time.
