Empire Machine Tool (Mcat Division)

We've been here at Empire House on Senapati Bapat Marg for a long time. People around Lower Parel probably know the ground floor spot. We handle machine tools, specifically the Mcat division side of things. It’s busy here. Most days we are just sorting out orders or talking to people about what parts they need for their shops. It isn't a fancy setup. We have the machines and the tools right there. If you walk into the ground floor of Empire House, you’ll find us. It’s a lot of metal, grease, and paperwork. We don’t spend much time on decorations. The focus is always on the equipment. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other times it's just quiet work in the back. That's just how it goes in this trade. We deal with various industries that need these specific tools to keep their own production lines moving. It’s practical work. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, with new buildings going up and old ones coming down, but we’re still right here doing the same thing. It’s a straightforward business. We provide what’s asked for and try to keep things organized despite the constant movement of heavy inventory. There’s always someone coming in to check on a specific tool or asking for advice on a machine part. We just do our best to help them get back to work. Sometimes we have to move heavy boxes around just to reach one small tool, but that's just part of the daily routine here in Lower Parel.
