Emirates Airlines

You can find us at the Samir Co-Op Housing Society in Malad West. We are located in Ushma Nagar, right near the Mithchowky junction. Because it is a residential society, it does not feel like a big airport terminal or a corporate hub. We mostly handle the side of the airline business that does not require a runway or a hangar. There are always kids playing in the society grounds outside our windows in the afternoons. It gets a bit noisy when the school day ends, but it gives the place a nice, lived-in atmosphere. We spend our days dealing with flight details and talking to people on the phone. The office is in unit C-209. It is a cozy space, maybe even a little bit cramped when the whole team is in at the same time, but we make it work. We have our files, our computers, and a small corner where we make tea and chat. Working in Malad is okay, though the traffic at the Mithchowky signal can be a real nightmare some mornings. We do not put on any airs about being part of a huge international airline. Here, we are just regular people doing our jobs. We have been in this society for a good bit now and everyone around here knows who we are. We just focus on getting the daily logs finished so we can head home. (246 words)
