Emerson

Our office is Flat No 11 in the Matruchhaya Building. It’s on G V Scheme Road No 1 in Mulund East, Mumbai. Living and working in Mulund is pretty great because you’re close to everything but it’s not as crazy as the city center. Emerson has been at this address for a while now. The building is one of those classic ones where you know your neighbors and you see the same people every day at the elevator or the entrance. We keep the flat pretty organized, but it still feels like a workspace. There are desks crammed into the rooms and cords running along the floorboards in some places. We don’t have a big corporate sign outside on the street. We just have our name on the mailbox. It’s a quiet place to get things done without too many distractions. We usually have the windows open to let a breeze in, though sometimes the dust from the road comes in with it. We handle our daily tasks without much fuss or drama. There’s a small kettle in the corner for when we need a tea break. It isn't a flashy setup, but it’s comfortable for us and it works. We’ve got our routine down. We start early, work through the list of things to do, and usually wrap up before the evening rush becomes too much for the commute. It’s a decent place to spend the day and work.
