Ellora Tourists

At Ellora Tourists, we spend a lot of time looking out at the helicopters. Being right opposite Pawanhans Helicopters in Vile Parle West is sort of interesting. We are located in the Commercial Plaza on Hosur Road, which is always busy. The office is in Parmakutir, number 391. It’s not the biggest place, but we fit everyone in. Most of the day is spent on the phone or writing down names in old registers. People want to go places, and we try to figure out how to get them there without too much trouble. Sometimes the traffic on the road is so bad that people arrive late for their appointments, but we don't mind. We just make another cup of tea and wait. The plaza has a lot of other offices, so there’s always someone coming and going. It gets a bit stuffy in the summer, but we have a fan that works most of the time. We aren’t one of those big travel sites you see online. We are just real people sitting at desks trying to sort out tickets and trips. Sometimes the computer acts up and we have to do things the old way. My nephew says we should update everything, but this works for us. It’s a bit messy with brochures everywhere, but it feels like a real office should. We have been in Vile Parle for years now.
