We are located over at the Prabhadevi Industrial Estate, down on the ground floor of building 20. Being on Veer Savarkar Marg means there’s always a lot of noise and traffic outside, but inside we just focus on the task at hand. It’s a bit of an older building, which gives it some character, I guess. We’ve been here at Elcom for quite a while, working out of this space. It’s not a huge office, but it fits what we need for our daily operations. We handle various parts and components, and our day is mostly spent on the phone or checking inventory in the back. The space is a bit crowded with boxes sometimes, especially when a new shipment arrives from the docks. It’s a typical Mumbai workspace where every square inch is used for something important. We don't have a lot of corporate polish here; it's more about getting things done and making sure the orders are correct. The team is small, and we all know each other well. We eat lunch together and complain about the monsoon or the commute like everyone else in the city. Working in Prabhadevi is convenient for some and a long haul for others, but it’s where we’ve settled. We don’t go in for big mission statements or goals. We just show up, do the work, and head home. That’s been the routine for years now, and it seems to work for us and our customers.
