East West Luggage

East West Luggage is located at 3 Dhanraj Niwas in Borivali East. It is a small shop, but we try to fit as much as we can inside. Most days start with moving a few heavy suitcases out to the front so people walking by can see what we have. It gets pretty dusty with all the traffic on the road, so there is always some cleaning to do. We have been in this spot for a while now. You see the same faces every morning when people head to the station. Some stop to ask about a zipper or a lock they need. It is mostly just us handling everything. We don't have any fancy displays. There are shelves filled with bags and some backpacks hanging from hooks. Sometimes the lighting is a bit dim in the back, but we know where every item is kept. It can be a bit of a squeeze when more than a few people come in at once. We usually just chat about the weather or how the trains are running while a customer looks at a cabin bag. It is a simple setup here in Dhanraj Niwas. We don't spend time on decorations. It's just about having the right size bag when someone needs it for a trip. If it starts raining, we have to move everything inside quickly so the stock stays dry. We stay busy from the morning until we close up the shutters at night.
