Eagle Mirror

Eagle Mirror is tucked away on the second floor of a building in Sutar Chawl. We are right in the middle of Zaveri Bazar, at the Gordhanwadi Tekra cross road. If you’ve ever been to Zaveri Bazar, you know how tight the lanes are and how many people are always walking around. It’s a very old part of the city with a lot of history. Our workshop is up a flight of stairs, and it’s usually filled with different pieces of glass and mirrors leaning against the walls. It’s not a polished showroom; it’s a place where work actually happens. We spend our days cutting glass and handling orders for people in the neighborhood. It’s often quite dusty and we have to be very careful where we step. The noise from the street below never really stops, with all the shouting and the carts moving by. We’ve been in this same spot for quite a while, and we’ve seen the market change a lot over the years. We don’t do much in the way of advertising. People usually find us by word of mouth or by just stumbling into the building while looking for mirror work. It’s a bit of a maze to get here, but once you’re on the second floor, you’ll see us busy with our tools. We just focus on the task at hand and try to get the orders finished on time for our local regulars.
