We are based out of Mira Road East, specifically in Shanti Gardens. You can find us in Building Number 5, up in Flat-701. It’s right opposite the Shrishti Complex, which is a pretty big landmark in this part of town. Even though we are a division of a larger company, this office feels much more like a small, local team. We work on a variety of media and investment projects. Mira Road is quite a distance from the main Mumbai hubs, but we like it here because it’s a bit more manageable and we have a good space to work in. Most days are spent on the phone or working through project details on our laptops. It’s not a high-pressure corporate suite with glass walls. It’s a flat that we’ve turned into a workspace, so it has a lived-in feel. We don’t really go for the flashy advertising or the big mission statements. We just focus on the tasks we have for the day and try to get them finished. Being across from Shrishti Complex means there are usually plenty of places to grab lunch or a tea when we need a break. It’s a busy neighborhood, but once you’re up on the seventh floor, it’s relatively quiet. We’ve been here for a while and have gotten used to the rhythm of Mira Road. We just keep things simple and do our work without making a lot of noise about it to anyone outside the office building. That is how we prefer it to be.
