Dwarka Mart Pvt. Ltd.

Dwarka Mart Pvt. Ltd. is based out of 93, Paliwal Villa on J.N. Road in Mulund West. It is more of a house than a typical shop, which makes it feel a bit more comfortable for us. We have rooms filled with different stock items. Since we are in Mulund, the atmosphere is a little different than the city center. It’s a bit more relaxed, though J.N. Road stays quite busy with people going to and from work. We have people coming in throughout the day looking for things. Sometimes the doorbell doesn't work, so people just shout or knock loud. We try to keep the shelves tidy, but on delivery days, there are crates everywhere in the hallway. Our staff consists of local folks who live nearby, so we all know each other's families. We don't have a big corporate sign or anything, just a small one near the gate. It's a simple operation where we manage the inventory and help out the people who walk in. The garden area of the villa is mostly used for storing empty pallets now. In the rainy season, we have to be careful about the leaks in the back room. We just deal with it as it comes. It's a practical way to run a mart, and it works for us. We stay open late most nights to finish everything before going home.
