We are located over at New Vishal Apartment on Cabin Road in Bhayandar East. Dvv Media Group India Pvt. Ltd. is basically just a small team of us working out of this flat. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main road, which is nice when you’re trying to read through drafts. We handle media and publishing stuff, mostly just keeping track of news and getting things printed or put online. The office is pretty simple, nothing like those glass buildings you see in South Mumbai. We have our desks, some old files, and a coffee machine that works when it wants to. Bhayandar is a bit far for some, but for us, it’s just where we work. We spend a lot of time on the computer, checking facts and talking to people on the phone. Sometimes we get visitors, but mostly it’s just the same faces every morning. We don’t have any big corporate manifestos or anything. We just show up, do the work that needs doing, and head home. There’s always some new project coming in, which keeps things from getting too boring. We try to keep things honest and straightforward. If there’s a mistake, we fix it and move on. It’s a decent place to work, and we all get along pretty well despite the small space. We usually leave the windows open for a breeze because it gets stuffy with all the equipment running.
