Durga Pan Bidi & General Stores

We have been here at Shop No 07 near Dadar T.T. for a long time now. It is a busy spot on Ambedkar Road in Dadar East, so there is always someone coming in. Most people stop by for their pan or bidi after work or while they are waiting for a transport. We try to keep all the basic general items too, like matches or small snacks that people might need suddenly. The shop isn't very big, but it stays open through most of the day. You will see us right there on the main road. It gets quite noisy with the Mumbai traffic, but we are used to it by now. Sometimes customers just stand around for a minute to talk about the weather or the news while they grab what they need. We do not have fancy displays or anything like that. It is just a regular shop where you can find your daily stuff without any fuss. The neighbors know us well, and we know most of their faces too. If you are passing through Dadar East, you will probably spot our sign. We just handle the counter and make sure the shelves are not empty. It is a simple life running a store in this part of the city. We do not really do anything special, just sell what people ask for and keep things moving every day. Sometimes it gets crowded but we just take one person at a time.
