We are located in Kurla West, inside the Dhayari Industrial Estate on Sinhagad Road 41314. It is a big area with lots of warehouses and other companies doing their own thing. Our unit is just one of many in the estate. The road outside, Sinhagad Road, can get really congested with trucks and tempos moving goods in and out. It’s not the quietest place to work, but it’s practical for what we need to do. Inside, it’s mostly about the machinery and the production lines. We wear our hairnets and uniforms every day to keep things clean. The floor is made of that hard gray concrete that is easy to wash down at the end of the shift. We have a small office area, but most of us are out on the floor making sure the machines are running like they should. It gets pretty loud when everything is switched on. We eat our lunch in a small breakroom that has a view of the other industrial units. There’s a tea stall just outside the main gate where we sometimes go for a quick break.
