Drivers On Call

Drivers On Call is tucked away in Lokhandwala, Andheri West. You can find us near the 2nd Cross on R T Street, right by the Ballapur Market. It’s a really busy area, especially with the market right there, so there is always something going on outside our door. Our office is the hub where we coordinate all the drivers and handle the bookings that come in over the phone. It’s not a fancy setup at all. We have some maps on the wall and a couple of desks where we keep track of who is where. The phone rings a lot, and there’s usually a bit of back-and-forth chatter as we figure out the best driver for each request. We’ve been serving the Andheri area for a long time, and we know these streets better than most. Most of our day is spent making sure everyone gets where they need to go without too much trouble. It’s a practical business, and we don't spend much time on appearances. The floor is a bit worn and the chairs are just okay, but it works for us. We like the energy of the market nearby, even if it gets a bit loud in the afternoons. It’s just us, the phones, and the drivers coming in and out to check their schedules. We just keep things moving and focus on the task at hand every day.
