If you’re looking for Dj Mix Vibes, you’ll find us at 39/ 5 in the Ramchandra Jadhav Chawl. We’re tucked away in the Amboli area of Andheri West, right near the old Amboli Church. It’s a local neighborhood through and through, and we’ve been part of it for quite some time. We don't have some big fancy studio with glass walls. It’s just a room where we keep all our gear and practice our sets. The chawl has a lot of life to it, and you can always hear something going on outside. Being near the church makes it easy for people to find where we are located. We mostly handle music and sound for different gatherings around Mumbai. It’s hard work and the hours are usually late, but that is the nature of the job. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do. We just play music and try to get the vibe right for whoever hires us. Sometimes the equipment is heavy to move around these narrow lanes, but we manage. People in Amboli know us as the guys with the speakers. We keep things honest and just focus on the music. It’s a small operation, run by people who actually live here and know the streets. No corporate nonsense, just us and our decks in the middle of the chawl. We just want to make sure the music sounds good for the next event.
