Dj Aryan

I run Dj Aryan out of my spot at G/64 in Mahalaxmi. It is right across from the Race Course, which is a landmark everyone knows. I have been into music for as long as I can remember, and eventually, it just turned into a job. I do not have a big team or a fancy studio. It is mostly just me and my gear. I spend a lot of time making sure my speakers are working and that I have the right tracks for whatever crowd I am playing for. Mumbai is a noisy city, but the right kind of noise at a party is different. I have played at all sorts of places, from small house parties to bigger halls around the city. Being near the Race Course is handy because it is central. People often call me last minute, and I try to make it work if I am not already booked. I do not use a lot of fancy words to describe what I do. I just play music and try to keep the energy up. Sometimes the equipment acts up because of the humidity, but I usually have a backup plan. It is not a glamorous life like people think. There is a lot of carrying heavy boxes and standing around for hours. But when the crowd is happy, it is alright. I am just a guy who knows his way around a soundboard and likes to see people having a good time.
