Disha Travels

You can find us at 7/174 in Kurla East. It’s a humble little place where we handle all kinds of travel arrangements. Working in Kurla means dealing with a lot of noise and people moving around all the time. At Disha Travels, we spend most of our hours looking at ticket prices, checking train schedules, or figuring out bus routes for people. It’s not a glamorous job, but people need to get from one place to another, and we help them do that. The office is tucked away in a spot that might be a little hard to find if you aren't looking for it, but we’ve been here long enough that the neighbors know us well. We don't have any fancy brochures or big TV screens showing holiday spots. It’s just a desk, a couple of computers, and us trying to make sense of the bookings. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to tell people to wait a bit while the page loads. It’s just how it goes sometimes. We get all sorts of people coming in—families going on vacation or workers trying to get back to their home villages. We just try to get the tickets done correctly so nobody gets stuck at the station. It’s a straightforward business and we keep it that way. Every day is different because you never know where people are planning to go next.
