Dipali Engineering Works

Dipali Engineering Works is situated in the Gujarat Housing Board, building 31, in Kurla West. It is a busy residential and commercial mix, and we have been part of the landscape for years. Our workshop is not very big, and it is usually full of metal scraps and tools. We do a lot of different things, from welding to fixing old machinery that people bring in. It is loud work, and the sound of the grinder is something we hear all day long. We are just a few guys who know how to work with our hands. We did not go to any fancy schools for this; we just learned by doing the work every day. The walls are covered in soot and the floor is stained with oil, but that is how a real engineering shop looks. We do not have a secretary to answer the phones, so if we are busy, you might have to wait a bit. We try our best to get the jobs done on time, though sometimes parts are hard to find. We do not make any big claims about being the best. We just do the work and hope the customer is satisfied with the result. It is a practical life in Kurla. We work hard, we have our tea, and we deal with the challenges of the day as they come up.
