Dinesh Bags is over at 91/93 Haji Gaffar Mansion. We are on the first floor. The building is near Crawford Market in the Vishwanath Nagar area, close to the Ajit Police Chowky in Masjid. Being on the first floor means you have to walk up some stairs, but it’s not too bad. The area around Crawford Market is always crowded and noisy, with people selling everything you can imagine. We are right in the middle of all that hustle. Our shop is filled with bags of all kinds. Since we are in an older building like Haji Gaffar Mansion, the space has a lot of character, but it can be a bit tight when we get a big shipment in. We have been here for years and know all the other shopkeepers around the police chowky. It is a very busy part of the city, and there is always something going on outside. We don’t use any marketing tricks or polished language to get people in. Most of our customers come because they were told about us by someone else or they just happened to be in the building. We spend most of our time organizing the stock and talking to people who come up the stairs. It is a simple, honest business. We stay until late in the evening because that is when the market is most alive. It can be exhausting sometimes, but this is the way we have always worked.
