Diksha Engineering Works

We run Diksha Engineering Works out of Gogate Wadi in Goregaon East. It’s an industrial sort of area, right near the Jay Narayan Estate and across from Aarey Road. If you come by, you’ll hear the machines running before you see us. We work out of Choiube Stable, which is an old spot but it fits all our equipment. It’s hot and loud inside most of the time. We don’t have a front desk or anyone to greet you at the door. You just walk in and find one of us working on a lathe or welding something. We do a lot of custom parts and repairs for other businesses nearby. It’s greasy work and our hands are never clean, but that’s the job. We started this place because we knew how to fix things that other people couldn’t. We don’t have a website or any social media pages. People find us because they have a part that broke and they need it fixed fast. We don’t talk much while we’re working because of the noise. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and oil, but we know where everything is. It’s a simple engineering shop. We don’t try to make it look like anything else. If you need something made out of steel or iron, we just get to it and finish the job.
