Diane Dillon Travels

It's just me and a couple of others here in Santacruz East at Diane Dillon Travels. We are tucked away in Sai Complex, right in C Wing on the third floor in Flat No 3. If you know where Vacola Church is, we are just behind there on Kazi Syed Street. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and looking at maps for different routes. People come in wanting to see family or just take a break from the city heat. We don’t have a big fancy office. It’s a flat, really. It gets a bit noisy when the church bells go or when the traffic picks up on the main road, but we like it here. We’ve been helping people figure out their train tickets and flights for a long while now. Sometimes the internet is slow and we just sit and talk to whoever walked in. It’s not a big corporate operation. We just know the travel routes and the current prices. My desk is usually covered in scrap paper and half-finished tea. It’s a bit cramped with all the files from over the years, but we know where everything is. You just walk up to Flat 3 and knock. We might be busy with a booking, so sometimes there is a wait. It’s a local spot where neighbors stop by to ask about passports or just to say hello on their way home. We keep things pretty simple and try to get the dates right so nobody gets stuck at an airport or a station somewhere far away.
