Dheeraj Heritage Terrace Garden

We’ve been here in Santacruz West for quite a bit now, right opposite Milan Mall. If you know the area, you know how busy the Santacruz Bus Depot gets, especially in the evenings when everyone is trying to get home. Our place is up on the terrace, so you get away from that street noise a little bit. It’s not a fancy skyscraper or anything, just a nice open space where you can see the city lights and feel the wind. We spend a lot of time watering the plants and making sure the seating is comfortable enough for people to sit for a while. Sometimes the lift acts up, but mostly it’s fine. Most of our regulars are folks who live nearby or someone who finished shopping at the mall and wants a quiet spot. We don't do much fancy stuff, just keep the tables clean and make sure there’s enough light when it gets dark. It’s a bit of a climb if you don't take the elevator, but once you're up there, it feels different from the dusty road below. The staff has been with us for years, and we all just sort of know how things work by now. It isn't a five-star setup, but it’s our spot. We just focus on keeping the garden green and making sure nobody feels rushed. It gets pretty lively on weekends when families show up from the neighborhood.
