Hashin Leather

You can find us over in Sion, specifically near Nehru Nagar on the 90 Feet Road. Our shop is Number 37 in the Videshwari Building No 28 A. It’s a bit of a mouthful for an address, but it’s a solid spot in the Dharavi area. Hashin Leather is where we spend our lives. The 90 Feet Road is always buzzing with activity, so there’s never a dull moment outside the door. Inside, it’s mostly just us and the leather. We have racks filled with different items and piles of materials waiting to be used. It’s a tight space, so we have to be careful where we step. The walls are lined with stuff we’ve collected over the years. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the material. The light isn't always great, but we make do with what we have. Most of the time, we’re busy sorting through orders or talking to people who stop in. Dharavi is a place where everyone works hard, and we’re no different. We keep our tools sharp and our heads down. The building is just a regular place, nothing fancy to look at from the outside. But inside, we’ve got everything we need to keep going. We just try to stay busy and make sure the work gets done right. It’s a practical life here in Sion. We take our breaks when we can and get right back to it.
