Billionairs Leather Boutique

At Billionairs Leather Boutique, we are based at Shop No. 3 in the Issa Suleman Chawl. It’s right on Sant Rohidas Marg, near the Sion Bandra Link Road in Dharavi. Being in this part of town means there is never a dull moment. The street is always packed with people and traffic. We work mostly with leather. We make bags, jackets, and other small items. The shop is small and it’s packed from floor to ceiling with rolls of leather and finished goods. It has that strong smell of leather that you get used to after five minutes. We’ve been here for a long time and we know all the other shopkeepers on the block. It’s a tight community. We don't have a fancy showroom or air conditioning. We just have a couple of sturdy tables and our tools. Most of our customers find us because they were walking by or a friend told them where we were. We don't spend money on advertising. We just try to make things that last. Sometimes we get very busy and the shop looks like a mess, but we know where every single piece of thread is. It’s a hard way to earn a living with the heat and the noise, but it’s what we know. We just take it one day at a time here on the Link Road.
