Devraj Travels

We have been operating Devraj Travels for quite some time now from our small office in Kandivali West. If you know the area, you can find us tucked away on Abdul Rehman Street, right behind the Charkop Bus depot. It is a noisy spot with all the buses moving around, but it makes it easy for people to spot us. We started this because we knew a lot about local routes and how to get around the city. It is mostly just me and a couple of guys handling the bookings. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It is just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of logbooks. People from the neighborhood usually just drop by when they are planning a trip or need a car for a family function. We spend most of our day on the phone or talking to drivers. It gets busy during the wedding season especially. Sometimes the traffic outside gets stuck, but we manage. We try to be straightforward with everyone who walks in. There is no complicated process here. You tell us where you need to go and we see what we can do. My cousin comes by to help with the keys and the phone calls when it gets too busy. It’s been a long journey since we opened behind the bus station. We know the local shortcuts and the best times to leave to avoid the worst traffic. It is a basic setup, but it works for us and the people who live around Kandivali.
