Desserts By Tesu is located on the 7th floor of the Hari Om Building in Andheri West. It’s not like a regular shop you see on the street; it’s more of a personal space where all the baking happens. Being on the 7th floor means we don't get walk-in customers in the traditional sense, but the whole hallway usually smells like vanilla or chocolate whenever the oven is on. We spend our days mixing batter, whisking cream, and checking timers. The kitchen can get quite messy with flour on the counters and bowls piled up in the sink, but that’s just how it goes when you’re making things from scratch. We don’t have a big staff, just us doing the work and making sure everything comes out right. The view from the window is mostly other buildings in Andheri, but we don’t spend much time looking out. We are usually too busy decorating cakes or packing up boxes for people to pick up. It’s a quiet way to work compared to the shops downstairs. We started doing this because we like the process of baking, and it just grew into a full-time thing here in Hari Om Building. There isn't any fancy branding on the walls, just some cooling racks and a few heavy-duty mixers. We just keep our heads down and focus on the next batch of whatever is in the oven. It’s a small, honest operation tucked away high above the busy street.
