Designer Studio Collectibles

Our shop is on the ground floor of the Vasundhara Building, right there on Bhulabhai Desai Road. It is not the biggest space in the world, but we manage to fit a lot into it. Being at number 3 means people can find us fairly easily if they are looking, though the traffic on the road can be a bit of a nightmare during rush hour. We deal in all sorts of collectibles and the shelves are usually overflowing with bits and pieces we have picked up over the months. Sometimes it feels more like a storage room than a studio, but that is just the way it goes when you like keeping things. The light in the building is okay, but we mostly rely on the lamps we have set up inside. My desk is tucked in the back corner behind a stack of boxes that I really should have cleared out last week. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who like looking at old things and figuring out where they came from. Customers usually spend a long time just walking around the small aisles because there is so much to see. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that, most people just hear about us from a friend or walk in because they were passing by the building. It is a quiet life inside the shop even with the noise from the street outside.
