Designer Chocolates

This little spot of ours is at Parel Parvati Darshan 100, inside Nirmala Nivas. It is basically just us working with cocoa and sugar most days. It started small and we just stayed in A Block because it works for us. We don't have a giant factory or anything like that. It’s mostly just getting the chocolate melted down and into different shapes. Sometimes we get a big order and the whole place smells like sweetness for days, which can be a bit much if you are here all the time. We spend a lot of time wrapping things up in foil or boxes. People come by when they need something for a birthday or just a small gift. The floor is usually a bit messy with bits of paper, but we try to keep the actual workspace very tidy. Parel is a busy area, but our corner is usually quiet enough to get the work done. We don't really have a big sign out front, so you have to look for Nirmala Nivas to find us. It is just a simple operation. Sometimes the temperature in the room has to be exactly right or the chocolate doesn't set, so we are always messing with the fans. We just make what we can and hope people like the taste. It's a lot of manual work, honestly, but we get by.
