Our office is over in Powai, Mumbai. We are at K-11 in the Jal Vayu Vihar Colony. It is a pretty well-known spot because we are right near the Hiranandani Gardens and directly opposite the S.M. Shetty School. Being near a school means it gets very loud when the kids are coming or going. Deligent Media Corporation handles the DNA newspaper from this location. It is a fast-paced environment because news doesn't wait for anyone. We have stacks of papers everywhere and editors running around. The colony is a bit older, which gives it a lived-in feel compared to the shiny towers nearby. We have our own routine here. Morning starts with checking what happened overnight and then it's a scramble until the paper is ready. The commute into Powai can be a drag because of the Mumbai traffic, so a lot of us arrive tired but we get into the flow quickly. There are some good places to eat around here, but mostly we just grab something quick at our desks. The office isn't very large so we are all quite close to each other. Every day is a bit different but the stress stays about the same.
