Our office is tucked away at 18 A in Goregaon West. We are in the Ashokraj Building, which is right behind the Ratna Hotel. If you are coming from the RT Nagar Post side, it is just a short walk. The building itself has been around for a long time, and our office on the ground floor feels very lived-in. We have a couple of old desks and some chairs that have seen better days. Most of our work involves sitting at the computers and trying to find travel routes that actually make sense. It’s a lot of clicking through different websites and talking on the phone with bus operators. People come in wanting to visit their hometowns or go on a small trip during the holidays. We handle a lot of the local tours and some longer travels too. It is not a high-tech place; we still use a lot of paper notebooks to jot things down. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of noise, and the street sounds from behind Ratna Hotel drift in while we work. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for bookings to go through. It gets busy during the summer when everyone wants to leave the heat. We just try to get the tickets booked without any errors. It is a simple business and we’ve been part of this Goregaon neighborhood for quite some time now. We know the local shopkeepers and the daily rhythms of the street outside.
