DCN Industries is based over in Shivaji Peth, specifically at Krushi Chandra. Shivaji Peth is an old part of Kolhapur, so the streets are narrow and usually crowded with people and scooters. Our office at A-1187 is right in the middle of all that noise. It’s a lively place to be. We have been here for a while and the building feels like home now. Inside, there are stacks of folders and old ledgers because we haven't quite moved everything to computers yet. It works for us. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we are too busy to get around to it. We deal with various industrial tasks and construction projects around Karvir. Most days start with a lot of phone calls to suppliers and checking on the workers. It’s not a quiet job. You can hear the city outside all day long. Sometimes we have to walk a bit to find parking for the site vehicles because the lane is so tight. We like being part of this neighborhood though. There is always a place nearby to grab a quick snack or a tea. We are just a group of people trying to get things built right. We don't do much advertising; most people just know where we are. If you find yourself near Shivaji Peth, we are the ones in the Krushi Chandra building with the blue door. It’s just a normal office where we do our daily work and try to stay organized.
