Daffodil Bags

Daffodil Bags is based in the Akurli Industries area. Specifically, we are at C173 on Akurli Road in Kandivali East. This is an industrial zone, so there are many factories and workshops all around us. We fit right in with the rest of the businesses here. We spend our days working with different materials to make bags. It is a noisy area with trucks coming and going all the time. Our space is functional and designed for production. We don't have fancy decorations or a reception desk. It’s mostly sewing machines and large tables for cutting fabric. We've been in Kandivali East for a good number of years. The people working here live nearby for the most part. We start early in the morning when the sun is just coming up. It gets quite hot in the afternoons inside the unit. We make all sorts of bags depending on what is needed. Sometimes the orders are small and sometimes they are quite large. We just take it as it comes. Akurli Road is always active. There is a lot of movement in this part of town. We are just one of many small units trying to make a living. We don't do a lot of talking, we just focus on the machines.
