R. N. Shinde & Sons

You can find R. N. Shinde & Sons in Dadar West, over at Mukund Mansion on N. C. Kelkar Road. This is one of the busiest parts of Mumbai, and we have been right here in the middle of it for many years. Mukund Mansion is an old building that has seen a lot of history, and our office reflects that. It’s a place filled with old wooden desks and stacks of papers that have built up over the decades. We are a family-run business, and you can really feel that when you walk in. There’s no corporate polish here, just the smell of old paper and the sound of the market outside. N. C. Kelkar Road is always full of shoppers and vendors, so there is never a dull moment. We spend our days meeting with people who have often been coming to us for generations. We don’t have a marketing department or any fancy brochures. Our business is built on just being there and doing what we say we will do. The lift in the building is a bit temperamental, so we often end up taking the stairs, which is good for the legs I suppose. We keep things simple and traditional because that is what we know. There is always a pot of tea on the stove and someone ready to have a chat about the work. It’s a humble, hardworking environment that has stood the test of time and all the city changes.
