D. V. Travels Guru Pvt. Ltd

Our office is in Dahisar East, which is quite a way up in Mumbai. We are in the Maratha Colony area, specifically in the Vatsala Apartment building. It’s flat 202 in the Vedvati CHS Ltd society. We’ve been here for a good while, helping people with their travel plans. D. V. Travels Guru is a small operation. We don’t have a big corporate office in a glass tower. Instead, we have a comfortable room with a few desks and a lot of travel brochures that are starting to curl at the edges. Dahisar is a busy residential area, so we get a lot of people from the neighborhood dropping in. The trains are a big part of life here, and we can hear them in the distance. We spend the day booking tickets and checking visa requirements on the computer. Sometimes the power cuts out for a bit, so we just wait it out and talk. We have a small tea kettle in the corner that gets a lot of use. The apartment is a bit old, but it’s sturdy and it gets the job done. We don’t use any polished sales pitches. We just tell people what the prices are and which flights are on time. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We like being part of the local colony here in 400 068. It is just a regular job for us.
