D S P Travels has its home at Chembur Mahakali Caves Road 374. It is not some big corporate office with a lobby. It is just a small room where we have a few chairs and a computer that is a bit old now. We have been here for a long time, so we know the Chembur area inside and out. Mostly, people just drop by to see about bus tickets or to rent a car for a few days. We do not have any fancy brochures. We just talk to you and tell you what is available. The traffic on Mahakali Caves Road can be a real pain in the mornings, so we spend a lot of our time on the phone with drivers making sure they are on their way. It gets a bit messy with papers everywhere on the desk, but we know where everything is kept. We are not trying to be the biggest agency in the city. We just want to make sure the person who comes in gets their ticket and gets on their way without a lot of trouble. Some days the internet is slow and we have to write things down by hand in a big ledger we keep. It is a simple way of working, but it has served us well over the years. We stay open late most nights because that is when people are coming home from work and want to plan their trips. It is just us here, doing the work.
