If you’re looking for us, we are in the Kelkar Building at Block No. 9. That’s on S. M. Jadhav Marg in Dadar. Anyone who knows Mumbai knows how busy Dadar can get. Our office is in an older building, so the elevator is a bit cranky and sometimes it’s faster to just take the stairs. We’ve been in this same spot for decades. The walls are covered in old files and there’s a big wooden desk that’s been here since the beginning. We do a lot of administrative and trade work. It’s mostly paperwork and talking to people on the phone. We don't have a marketing department or a fancy logo. It’s just the name on the door. People come to us because they’ve known the family for years. It’s a very traditional way of doing business, I suppose. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the news while we work. The street outside is always noisy with traffic and people shouting, but inside it’s relatively quiet. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. We just provide the services people ask for and try to be fair about it. Dadar is our home, and the Kelkar Building is like a second home to us. We might not have the newest office furniture, but we know exactly where everything is. It’s just a regular local business.
