We've been here at Manoj Vila in Vile Parle West for quite a while now. Being right on the station road makes things busy, especially in the mornings when everyone is rushing to catch their trains. Our office is easy to spot if you are walking from the station. We spend most of our time looking at flight schedules and train timings on the computers. It gets a bit loud with the traffic outside, but we are used to it. People drop in to ask about holiday packages or just to get a ticket booked to see their family. It’s a small space, filled with posters of different countries and stacks of brochures that sometimes get a bit messy. We try to keep everything organized, but when three people walk in at once, it gets hectic. My desk is usually covered in notes and printouts. We handle all sorts of travel stuff, from simple bus tickets to bigger trips. Sometimes the internet slows down right when we are trying to confirm a booking, which is frustrating, but we manage. The tea guy from around the corner comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a short break. It's just a regular local business trying to help people get where they need to go. We don't have any fancy waiting lounge, just a few chairs for people to sit while we check the prices for them. It's a simple life here.
