D. D. Engineering Co. is based in Borivali West, specifically at F/ 1 in the Dwarkesh building on L. T. Road. If you know Borivali, you know that L. T. Road is a pretty major stretch with a lot going on at all hours. Our office is on the first floor, which gives us a bit of a view of the street below. It is mostly desks and drawing boards in here. We spend a lot of our time looking at plans and trying to figure out the best way to put things together for the jobs we take on. The Dwarkesh building is a familiar landmark for us now. We have spent many hours here, through the monsoons and the heatwaves. It is not a corporate glass tower; it is just a regular building with a lot of character. We do not have a big staff, just a few people who know what they are doing. Most of the time, the atmosphere is quiet, broken only by the sound of the fans or the occasional phone call. We do not do much in the way of advertising. Most of the work comes through word of mouth or people seeing our name on L. T. Road when they are passing by. It is a steady way to work. We like the neighborhood because there are plenty of places to grab a quick lunch or a coffee nearby. D. D. Engineering Co. is just a small firm doing its best to keep up with the daily grind in Borivali. We take things as they come.
