Down in Mapusa, things usually move at their own pace, and we have been part of that rhythm for a long time now. At Crosscraft Events, we mostly spend our time getting things ready for parties, weddings, or whatever else people are celebrating. It is a lot of physical work, honestly. We spend a lot of time moving chairs around, checking cables, and making sure the lights actually turn on when they are supposed to. Our office in Goa is often a bit of a mess, with flyers, samples, and decorations piled up in the corners. We are not some giant corporation with people in suits; we are usually wearing t-shirts because it gets pretty hot around here. Organizing an event is mostly just a long string of phone calls and making sure the trucks show up on time. We have had plenty of long nights, especially when the weather decides not to play nice with us. But that is just how it goes in this line of work. We know most of the local vendors around here pretty well by now. It is good to be working in a place like this. Most of the time, we are just trying to keep everything organized so nobody else has to worry too much about the details. It is not always perfect, but we definitely put in the hours to make sure things happen. We just take it one day at a time.
